Painting the housing of my slider

I see all these faceplates and housings for sale, but I can't find one that I really like. I kinda want an all black slider fully housed, but I can't seem to find any for sale with a battery that doesn't flash. So anyone know a good way I could paint this thing (full housing and battery)?

ive painted mine twice before... first time i painted it candy apple red with an airbrush(posted it alonng time ago).... second time i shaved the emblems and that other antenna hole and painted it black with fusion spray paint.....it looked really nice.... and would work great as long as u wait for it to cure..... that could take anywhre from 3 weeks to 3months at leats.... otherwise mine i waiting like 2 weeks and it would be delicate and soft stilll.... chipping easily etc.... so i sanded it down again and got a clear housing for now... whcih works really good so far.... i havent had any problems with it...
i dont liek the way it looks tho.... so i think im gonna paint the inside of my clear case black..... that way it doesnt chip or anything since its on the isnide......
other than that it was easy to paint..... the hardest part is the keypad on the inside.... u hav eto like mask off the inner lip of each button or else the paint will make the buttons hard to push down and get them stuck down after u push them...

That looks badass man, but I'm pretty much a newb when it comes to painting stuff like that. What kind of paint did you use, what did you apply the paint with, what precautions did you take (i.e. tapping off this so you didnt get paint on it) and how much did this all run you. I have 2 se47's, one is pretty much ruined because I got tossed in a lake with it in my pocket, so I can practive on the bad one before I actually do it on my main one, but i need some pointers first.

it costed like maybe 10 bucks max for that paintjob... i already had an airbrush and i just bought the paint at a hobby store... the paint that comes in little mini jars... and sum paint thinner....
as far as masking i hate masking.... so i just took the whole phone apart.... and it was really easy...
the only part u gotta worry about is where the buttons are... and do sumthin about not getting paint on the inside lip where the sides of the buttons touch the case..... or just paint it and if u have a dremel tool lightly sand out the inside lip after its dry...
but when i apinted my phoen black it looked really good too... it had like a glass finish... i used kyrlon fusion paint... and that time i sanded the whole phone down....with a high grit sand paper just to smooth it out and make the surface more adherable... 1 can of spray paint worked for me and that was like 4 or 5 bucks... id also apply a clear coat....
since u have an extra one to practice on... i would use that as ur main case... if i were u id take apart the whole case
and paint it and everything... and clear coat and after u apint it id let it dry and cure for as LONG as u can..... otherwise the case wont last... but this way u have ur other phone still workin while ur waiting for the case to dry... id wait a minimum of 2 weeks...
than once its dry u can just swap the parts of ur working phoen into the painted case....
also since u have an extra phone... for masking of the buttons... it might work if u just leave the buttons in the case and that'd be alot easier than masking or sanding them out later....
