New LG 4400 won't boot after loading wallpaper

I just got a 4400 and have been using Bitmip .62 to load up some ringers and wallpapers. After some trial and error I finally got 5 mp3s i had on and one wallpaper. I then downloaded some more wallpapers and mp3s and attempted to load some more. I could see bitmip sending about 3 of the wallpapers then i would get an error saying the phone was not responding while data was being altered, or I'd get an exception. I didn't understand what the exception was for. After one of these errors, I would usually turn off the phone and change some things trying to make it work. I attempted to load wallpapers several more times all with the same error. After one of these numerous erros, I turned off the phone as I had done before, and when I turned it back on, the phone stuck on the US Cellular screen. It now will stay there for several seconds, turn blank, then repeat all over. Can I somehow reboot my phone so it will start over?

just a guess, BUT it sounds like you used up all the memory and over flowed into the flash rom of the operating system

It's a guess..

did you 'backup ' the phone file system before you started ?

did you read up on 'bitpim' and your phone before you jumped in to start turning your phone into AN mp3 PLAYER ( because it is not) and it has limited memory ( it doesn't play mp3's it plays midi's) you have to rename the files ( change the ext to mid ) and keep them short about 30k or 20 seconds of sound

also LG phone operating system prefers 16bit image files not 24 bit image files. even your sounds should not exceeed 16 bit format in the file mode...( storage mode of file NOT the sampling rate )

use bitpim to restore the copy of the original file system..

Don't have it ?.. take your phonr back to the store.. act inconcent

don't make they same mistakes with your replacement phone
