I currently have a k700i and was wondering what i should get just to have a device to have internet with me...

My question is how is opera compared to Pocket IE? I pretty much will not be using the PDA functions other than the browser... Is wifi on a PDA that much faster? I have free WIfi on campus and also free GPRS from T-mobile.

I have a few options:

1. Wait for P910 and sell my k700i (will not get a s700) in that case

2. Get a ipaq 4150/55 now take advantage of WiFI and use with k700, and when the s700 is released I will get that when the price drops a little.

3. Get a ipaq rx3115 (Is pocet PC 2k3 SE a worthy trade off for the size and processor for 4150/55? theyre basically the same price) now take advantage of WiFI and use with k700, and when the s700 is released I will get that when the price drops a little.

4. I could get the mpx300 / mpx220.. but Im really not a fan of motorola and the release dates are still unknown

Im really confused

is the opera really slow and nothing compared to pocket IE? Id rather have a all in one device. and i like SEs a lot. But the S700 also seems tempting.....

Please give me some input

Thanks

If you like SE get the P910, Opera is not that slow. I like it on my P900.

WiFi is a lot faster but it will suck the battery right outta the phone so it's a trade off. The GPRS speeds are in no way blazing but I don't mind it. The Opera renders the page very nicely so you don't have to scroll across. I like my P900 if you want an all in one device its perfect. It's a great phone on top of that, and will fit in your pocket no problem.
