I just purchased a p800 to replace a 710.

I saw there is a spot on the back for an antenna. Is there a small antennae that can be purchased for the back?

On eBay I saw a bunch of replacement cases. Are any other these available in the US?

Any recommended software?

Any general recommendations about the phone?

Phone does not need an antenna.

Go with a Krusell Case at www.techshoppers.com

Lots of software around - check out the yahoo groups for it

Definately install sMan - best of all its free.

Thanks for the info and the tip on sMan.

I was a bit unclear when I said "replacement cases". I meant the actual p800 case itself. On eBay there are different colors like silver, black, and red, rather than the light blue.

Any place to buy these cases in the US?

Don't waste your money on those aftermarket case, they are cheap and flimsy. goto www.globalmob.com for OEM Sony Ericsson case.

On software there is so many, depends on your needs.

The spot for the antenna is mainly for carkits. Not sure if there is anywhere particularly to purchase one. you might want to email SE about it and see what they say.
