I've just flashed my gx20 to a gx22. Now would i still be able to download and play the games provided by vodafone? Because i read somewhere before that the gx20 and gx22 uses some different java library or something?
ALso after you have flashed, you lose the bomblink game. The name is still there but its a different game. Instead its some game that looks like mahjong but infact its not. Quite a boring game.

Now that you have flashed your GX20 to a GX22, you will not be able to play games downloaded on your phone from Vodafone. You are absolutely right - the GX20 and GX22 use different Java libraries. However, I did hear that a modification can be made to the .JAD file of the Java app which enables it to work on the GX22. If you open up the .JAD file in notepad, and add an extra parameter or something, then the game should work ... which poses a problem - how to get the Java app from the PC to the phone!
Modify the .JAD file in notepad, and then, if you have any webspace, upload the files to the internet, and download them via wap.
For more information, click here, and here.
There is some information on editing the .JAD file here.

As for Bomblink, yes it's gone and been replaced with some Chinese game ... My Chinese literacy skills are fairly limited, but I have no idea what is going on in that game lol
