I tried to resize a bigger jpg image to size 120X131 using mspaint. Then I transfer the image using BitPim and my USB cable to the phone. when i try to delete the image in my phone, the image is gone, but the name of the image is still here??? It has nothing in it, just blank, but the name just won't go away. When I use BitPim and QPST Explorer to go back to the folder, the names are not there. This only happens to the image that I made, but not the ones that I downloaded. Anyone has any suggestion of how to get rid of the name?
BTW my phone is VX6000

Don't use bitpim to delete wallpapers.
Delete them from the phone.
Just upload the picture again, and delete it from the phone's menu.

That's what I did, I deleted them from the phone. I just use bitpim to check if the files are still there. The files are not there when i use both bitpim and QPST to check.

You could try deleting all map files in /download/dloadindex/ and restarting the phone, but one person said that this deleted all his ringers. (I can neither confirm nor deny, as it works fine for me on versioin SW v06.
Just make sure you turn your phone off and then back on after you delete them, and it should rebuild them properly.

there are 6 map files in that directory, should i delete them all?
I deleted mmsImageIndex.map only, after i restart the phone, the 2 names are gone!!! But the old ones that comes with the phone came back. I thought I deleted them, but apparently they are store in a different section of the phone. Thanks HytoFry, you save my life(phone).
