Hi all,

What PC tools can I use to hack the existing firmwares for the Sharp phones? If you open up the flash in Hex Editor, you get a whole load of gobbledegook that doesn't seem to resemble a structured programming language. Does anyone know what programming language the existing firmwares have been based on?

I have programming knowledge up to a certain extent, and I also have friends who are good at programming, so maybe, if Sharp or Vodafone won't do it, I will

But it will take me time though, and maybe when I'm finished, god knows how many new phones will be out! hehe

I have written to Vodafone, as I understand a letter has already been written to Sharp, to which Sharp have stated that they have no involvement with the product. I am waiting for a reply, which I will post up here.
