Got a question for most of ya, do SE make replacement lenses for t630? i've converted my t610 to a t630 but dropped my phone out the car while moving

and it cracked the lenses pretty good.

I bought my conversion kit from gobalmob, and the lenses does scratch easily also... so im sure the one at CNN is OEM

By the way since im on my way back to Iraq, would anyone know what signal is used over there and would my t610 work? I remember having to waiting in line for hours just to use the phone for 15mins

The only gripe I have about the kit is that the buttons aren’t centered vertically leaving a big *** gap on top (about the size of a dime sideways) and the top corner doesn't fit tightly so it makes a popping and cracking’ sound every time i hold the phone.

You can not just buy the front window. SE only distributes the whole front faceplate as one piece. The whole front faceplate should be reasonably priced from reputable vendors. Contact sung@globalmob.com for more information on this part... He should be able to get you the faceplate with a blank branding sticker.

Most of the parts at cnn.cn are fakes. It looks like the only time they carry the real parts is when they have not been copied yet.

The chinese have reverse engineered the parts, and made pretty good duplicates. Stores like CNN.CN are very deceptive because they sell a lot of fake parts as originals.

All have to say is WOW! mines arrived today and I am surprise and impress by the quality of the lenses in fact I am dead positive it’s the real thing. Everything look exactly like the OEM, so unless someone proves me wrong then I’m sold.

Well, You can not get that part anywhere from Sony Ericsson without the rest of the faceplate.

It is a really good fake.

yeah i brought two complete batches from cnn.cn and the first one i got i can tell was a fake but i was happy with the fake, it wasnt as bad as the fake t610's going around. the second one i got i did for a friend, and i think the second one was closer to oem then the first. so either there getting better at making fakes or there actually starting to get oem's.

the only reason i brought it from cnn is because it was sold out on globalmod at the time, both times, but if i ever needed to make another conversion, i would definatily buy from globalmod.

m15t3r, the lense was a pain to put on huh?, double sided tape just dont work well for me, and glue..as long as you dont get any on the screen..gotta have a steady hand.
