I was wondering if anyone had tried using the Sanyo USB cable 01 to connect their phone to their PC?

I have a USB cable off an Ericsson z10, but when I plug the phone in i get nothing.

Hope someone can help

you want your A5505SA as a USB mass strage device with USB cable?
if so my A5505SA and miniSD is working with w2k

or use usb data cable to access the net from your PC?
i dont have the the cable so no comments from me.

for browse in side phone to access address book and pics.
i only have RS-232C cable only

btw brew apploader sounds intresting. i want to write my own brew apps.but noway to get apploader and .sig files.

you just need to become authenticated (US$400) and then u can write upto 100 applications in 1 year + u get access to all the files you need to upload them to phones.

Tho unless you can get your phone test enabled the apps disapear once power is turned off.

You can then also deploy via a carriers BREW portal.

i read kddi web,only authrized corporate is allowed to deploy apps via kddi portal. no indivisuals =(
must read more docs about apploader things.

to upload apps from BREW@TOOL@SUITE,must use data backup cable.
KDDI use MySync cables. hope this will help you.

jolin, is the RS232 cable you have a mysync cable? or do they only come in USB style?

MySync is usb style. mine is 232C one.Qualacomm guys said they tested several cables working fine.

I am trying to build a test sig for the phone, and I cant read Japanese, so am finding it difficult to work out what the ESN # is for the phone, any ideas?

no i dont know how you get the ESN, but u use the last 8 digits of the phone number to create test sig.

You can upload BREW apps without setting the phone to Developer Mode, but the apps are wiped when the phone is powered down.

Hello newbie here, i just got one of these phones at a state surplus sale. Seems like soeone lost it on a airplane and it went unclaimed. I live in the USA and the phone worked great until the battery died. I do not have a charger for it, can someone look on there charger and tell me what model number the charger is? or point me in the direction to get another charger? I am wondering if I can just go to a electronics store and get one but i doubt it.

Also is there anyway I can get it to work in the USA i know the coverage area is all over in the USA but no provider carries it

I have a sidekick right now but i would love to have this one going too..

If i cant get it going ill probably just sell it on ebay unless someone makes me an offer here

I am not sure about the charger - my phone is in Japan @ the mo, but I know it is a standard KDDI charger (rather than a Sanyo charger) so would be available from any japanese electronic store.

Also it will roam to the US, but you will have to pay roaming charges to a KDDI acct in Japan.

If you are considering selling it, LMK how much, and what state you are in
