USB help!

I have just Bought the USB cord for the Kyocera SE47 slider and i have connected it and installed the drivers. There is a big sticky'd thread about data transfer and cable issues... perhaps your issue is discussed somewhere in there.
If you didn't get the official Kyocera cable for it, or if you didn't get the LG VX6000 USB cable with inline black box they sell at Radio Shack, good luck.
