Can LG1150 use MP3 ringtones?

Hello! I'm very new to the latest models of cellphones and I wanted to know if the LG1150 can support mp3 ringtones even though it does not suppor the AT&T real tones from their website.
Also, is this phone any good? I don't know if I should keep this phone or get something better. The camera on the phone is decent, not great and the included ringtones aren't any good. The phone is very light however, which is a big upgrade from my old phone which was very heavy compared to this one. Thanks for the help.
