P800 weird screen scramble issue, HELP

Help, I purchased a Sony P800 in January and recently the screen has been blanking out. and scrambled (depending on how I held the unit)
Well I opened the unit and saw the video connector cable (plugging into the logic board) was loose.
I plugged it back in but I still have 3 5 pixel wide white lines (vertical) near the right edge of the screen and the screen can be scrambled if I push too hard on the bottom part of the P800 itself (not on the screen but if for example I hold on to the casing of the P800 strong).
1. Can this be a pinched cable? If so what cable and how might a person fix it.
2. Is the cable causing the problem user replaceable? Where might one find a replacement cable?
3. Any links for advice or links for repair would be extremely helpful.
The funny part is that before I opened it I could get a perfect screen (if it was held just right) now it seems that the cable must be damaged since no matter what I can't get that side of the screen to turn on.
It's usable but barely. Your help would save me a lot of cash.
Thank you!
