Hi

I just downloaded opera and everyone seems to be working when i start it up the start up pages are there, search bars are there etc.

When i try to access a site eg. www.google.ca, it asks me which accounts to use et cetc

and it just loads and loads ( based on the flashing icon on the bottom) and then after a couple of minute it says it cant reach remote server. This is the same no matter which sites i try and also in the "information section" it shows that data is being transferred.

When i use the stock internet program everything works!

If anyone could help me out that would be great.

You must use the internet GPRS account, not the WAP GPRS account with Opera.

Thanks !
i called the Rogers Data hotline and they said that i need to set up my internet account separately from the Wap account?

what is the difference between the wap and internet?

Opera has been working fine on the T-Mobile "free WAP" for over a year for me on my P800 and P900. Address set to: wap.voicestream.com.

Works with Opera Accelerator as well, even though Opera says you need access at internet2.voicestream.com.

This is what my P900 does when I use a sim that doesn't have "free WAP". It happens to me for the built-in as well as Opera. I have tried to activate the $4.99 T-Zones, but it does the same thing. I know the T-Zones is not active yet. The "data group" says it takes 48hrs to activate. Strange, they can activate the $19.99 unlimited internet within minutes!
