Kyocera 2345 Charging Problems

Hello,
I have a kyocera 2345 phone. I went to charge it this morning and have noticed that the battery charge icon is not showing that the phone is being charged; though it does indicate that the battery is only partially charged. The green indicator on the actual charge is on however. Does anyone have any idea why my phone won't charge? Has anyone experienced this before?
