Bad USB Cable?

Well ive been using this datacable for about a week and everythings been fine .... until... I was adding a video to the phone like normal when it stopped half way and said connection lost. So i started everything over again but now it cant find the cable. I didnt mess with anything at all to make this happen. I tried to reinstall drivers, programs, everything. I saw alot of posts about this but none really with the problem i have because i had the cable working perfectly but just wont communicate with the phone anymore? If ya know what the problem could be please dont hesitate to reply.
