Hey, I was transfering some pictures off of my phone with BitPim and suddenly the phone froze so I turned it off, but used BitPim to reboot the phone...
well that didn't work so I pulled the battery out and put it back in...
anyway now when i try to boot up my phone it keeps trying but does not succeed, it said usxcm.c or something similar and turned off and tried to start up again but it's not working...
am i totally ××××ed?

how long have you had the phone? There is a factory warranty that can apply if you are still under that warranty. I did the same with my phone last week and took it to the Alltel store. They saw that it locked up on startup and gave me a new phone. No questions asked, no charge.

i found this phone and got it for free, don't know how old it is
does anybody know how much it would cost for repairs?

Did you get it fixed? The same thing happened to one of my 8600s and I couldn't find the way to fix it, I was told it has to be hard-reset but I don't know how to do it.
