Are the blackberry 2-way pagers subject to the same message length as SMS (i.e. 160 characters)? Verizon wireless messaging has an unlimited characters 2-way paging service for $19.99 a month that I am considering.

Can you actually do SMS on the older 2Way BB's current OS for the C++ devices is 2.6.x.x from what I recall on my old 957 I don't recall an SMS option. Now the new 5790 Java 2Way could be a defferent story.

I don't think they would call it SMS on the older 2-way BB pagers. It would just be straight 2-way pager service. I was just curious to see if the message length limitations were the same.
