I have a nokia 3100 that I bought while in israel. it works fine here in the US. i want to edit the OS a little bit. im not familiar with it all though. the issue is this: in english the phone cant type in hebrew but in hebrew the phone can type in english; i want to be able to type in hebrew while the phone is set to english. i have a DKU-5. can someone help me or point me in the right direction?

uh, i dont think thats possible, because i set my 3395 to spanish, and in spanish i can type spanish, and english, but in english it wont let me just throw an ñ or ú... it only goes one way i guess

im asking if there is a way to modify symbian on my phone, the programming of the OS, and if so can someone point me in the right direction or help me

first off the 3100 is series 40 phone....not series 60 symbian.
there is no symbian OS on that phone.....what your asking to do is impossible.

that cant be that it is impossible to view the programming of a series 40 phone just because it does not have symbian, and edit it. are you saying that was described just now is impossible?

no...not impossible.......but the series 40 does not have symbian....so that was what i was refering to as impossible....

the internal OS structure could be "edited"....but good luck finding someone with the skillz, the actuall skillz...not just some random kid who acts all hard, and someone who will "edit" the OS and not fully comprimise your phone into faulty usage.....follow me?

doing what you want = bad/dangerous and no one will do it...
