Hello, I've got a few questions abou the N-Gage QD that I'm hoping someone cand answer for me. First off, my brother got me this phone cause he knows I'm a game junkie and I travel a bit so I can't get my game fix on a regular basis. Now, here's my problem, he just gave me the phone without the manuals.

Someone told me I could buy a multimedia card and download MP3 music and other various games to it and then put it into my N-Gage and it'll work. Well....I did download a few games and music but when I put my memory card in the slot I have no idea how to access the music or the games. What am I doing wrong? BTW, I'm VERY computer retarded. Ask me about some phones and I can tell you alot but ask me to do something on the computer and I'll be lost. If anyone can help me out please, PLEASE contact me. Thank you.

Lady

alright... i have an n gage QD, and i ordered mine a month early from everyone else, so when i got it, it was a french canadian QD with an all french canadian instruction manual. I know how you feel.

what you need is a CARD READER. try lookig on ebay type "12 in 1 reader" or "mmc reader", or "4 in 1 reader" .... this will give you the ability to copy and paste files from the computer, to the card with windows explorer.

first and foremost you need a file called "Fexplorer" this is a version of Windows Explorer made for the nokia phone. This makes navigating through the phone alot easier because stupid n gage blocks out areas of the phone to browse..

once you get Fexplorer you need to get Real Media Player , that is at http://mobile.real.com i think... you need to download it for the 7610, becaus the link for the ngage is broken there. heh.. but its all Series 60. Series 60 is the type of operating system the n gage uses, theres alot to learn man.

try www.ngagegaming.com or www.allaboutngage.com for tutorials and lessons and post on the message board.

so after I get the Fexplorer file and the real media player on the phone it should be able to read my multi media card? I do have a card reader but where would I get the file for Fexplorer? Do I put that on the phone itself or on one of the multimedia cards? how do i download the real media player and why doesn't it come with the phone in the first place?

after all this is completed, will i be able to find games without going to the store to buy them and then return them after i've copied? if so, where would i find the games for this model?

Thanks a lot,

Lady

I have no clue what your trying to say..... fExplorer lets you browse the phone for files. Real Playr lets you play Real Audio, Real Video, and other multimedia formats. wav, mid, etc.

I believe its at www.my-symbian.com , if not there then just type Fexplorer in google, it should get you something.

I would put it on the phone itself. it comes in a .sis file format, and when you get it on the phone you have to install it to thephone for it to work.

did you even read my last post? i even gave you a URL... are you punishing me for trying to help??

http://www.realnetworks.com/industr...ia60/index.html

just put that you have a 7650, its all the same file. it doesnt come installed, but it comes on the nokia PC suite CD.
