Just got my t637 in the mail... NOT unlocked out of the box... which is disturbing. So, off I went to eBay and now I have a terminator dongle on its way.

The phones in cingular stores are unlocked, however it seems when ordered on the web they come locked.
.

This is what i have seen so far, to be sure go into a store and try a different sim in the phone
