>> is there anyone in Ottawa or preferably Cornwall that can possible help me out? I've broken my usb cable and seem to be getting further and further into trouble!

Sorry this was suppose to be under a thread but I clicked the wrong button. This is concerning a T720 that I was flashing. I was reading the T720 to T722i post and attempted to try and now this is were i am!!

I have the same issue with the power on for 2 sec then shut off. I tried jumpering 13 & 14, then 14 & 15 with no luck and tried the * # power on with both jumper options. Although I did notice when I jumper 13&14 together my phone main lcd continuasly powers up then shuts down until i remove the cable (like a blinking light).

the paperclip method didn't work so i took apart my usb cable and I'm jumpering it from the rear, still same effect. My pc cannot recognize the device.

Running USB cable.....All new versions of software.

Anyone please help!

Again sorry for the postin in the wrong spot, If i knew how to move it or delete this i would and repost under the other thread.

yea this is suppose to be under the t720->t722i thread.

i havent gotten it to worth either but i could tell that yur NOT suppose to take apart the USB cable. you won't achieve anything by doing that. somehow yur suppose to short pins 13 and 14 or 14 and 15 on the cable to try to get the phone to power on. when i do it it would also blink constantly like yurs i guess. i can't get it to stay on the purple screen.

Although you say that, I have been trying variation and I don't know what i did but my system recognized it but i had to hold it with my finger. I got part way thru the flash then i my pins began to loosen because my finger couldn't hold them. So it can be done, there seem to be variation though!
