bump . . . the only undelete-able ringtones (from within the phone menus) I've come across are the default ringtones (ringtone1, ringtone2, ringtone3) . . . you're having trouble deleting and clearing out the mp3 ringtones you've upload to your phone, right?

BitPim works, I have had that problem with wallpaper too. Sucks, but what else can ya do.

you have to go to the dload folder and delete the indexes for ringers.. then physically delete the actual ringers.. then reset your phone

Click on the filesystem tab, then click the + then you should see all the folders.. then just surf to all the files (look it up somewhere where the files are located)

RE: Unwanted ringtones
When you get into Bitpim
1.) Get Phone data, only phonebook
2.) THen in the ringers tab delete the ones you do not want
3.) Then 'Send Phone Data' only the phonebook, but make sure to click on 'Replace'

For me this rewrites only the ringtones ithat are in the bitpim library, which should be the only ringers you want
Try this out and let me know how it went
