Which mp3 player?

Im looking for an mp3 player.

I see that there is a new ceative labs one

or should i get an ipod?

The reasons im not sure about the ipod. Is are the battery's fine?
I also heard that the ipods sticks to one computer and all the memory gets erased. Also doesnt the ipod disollow kazaa mp3's not saying i have kazaa..............

Get the iPod.

To answer your questions:
1. The battery on the new iPods last up to 12 hours per charge. The new batteries can charge from the USB port now. (Previously it could only charge from your computer's firewire port or the wall outlet.)

2. If you set the iPod settings to manual instead of syncing automatically, you can use it with as many computers as you want. Your songs won't be erased.

3. The iPod can play all the illegal mp3s you get off of Kazaa just fine.

whats the difference between number 1 and number 3? There is a 20 gig difference and its only like 20 bucks more expensive? Are they the same generation? What is the latest generation? thanks

No 1 is generation 4 , which is the latest.

No 3 is generation 3. It includes a remote and carrying case..
