Newb here with VX6000 wallpaper question...

Just got a VX6000 and i'm trying to feel things out...
As far as wallpaper goes, I've tried e-mailing myself two or three different images (with [number]@vzwpix.com]), but when I try to save them I get an error. Is this because of filesize, or format, or what? Or is it even possible to e-mail yourself images that can be used as wallpaper?
If it is possible, then what could I be doing wrong? what guidelines in terms of size and file format does one have to follow when wallpapering?

u can send urself wallpaper but its gotta be a cetain size...u see my Verizon Pic in my signiture there? thats the size of the photo its gotta be. u can also send yurself free midi ringtones (anything under 30K) 
Laughs at Verizon for making ppl buy ×××× off of Get It Now for wallpaper, cmon now...common sence people!
