ok heres the deal i bought the microcam software works great takes pictures, but the problem im having is sending the pictures to my computer i installed photogt and i have the java software
i did everything on the index page step by step i opened the comand promp to see if java was installed and it was then i opened the photogt program with my phone connected i choose the correct comm port then i choose my directorty to send pics to then i chosse send and recieve images icon then my computer said comm 4 was selected ,the output directory has been set to etc,then opening com4configuring com4,com4 opened but i still when i go to the micro cam photo album and try to send the pics it say error sending picture failed to open, port used! What to do please someone help me

After taking pictures, shut the phone off then turn it back on. It seems the phone has trouble releasing the port after the cam is used.

forget it guys thanks anyway but i got it working i just have to load the program photo gt and leave it for like 3 mins b4 i open the ports and stuff.

ok now i have a question for you. i cant upload the pics to my pc. i am running win2k. What are you running? ive spoke with codecannon and hes using XP and it works well. i dont think im the only person with win2k so there has to be a difference between my pc and another one. I have however tried on 3 win2k pcs and it hasnt worked. weird huh?
