I had mobile Phonetools version 2.21 working in XP with my V220 just fine. It was able to connect to my phone every time, and I was putting tones and pictures on my phone with no problem. Yesterday I went to www.vstuff.co.uk and there they have "mPT 3.07" for download, so I thought it would be a good upgrade to install. That was completely not the case; after installing version 3.07 I got a generic looking phone picture for my mobile Phonetools menu and it couldn't connect to my phone. Also, the "no modem installed" icon was in the top of mPT screen.

I've tried uninstalling v3.07 (which won't live update by the way) and re installing version 2.21, but I still get the generic mPT menu that I got with v3.07 and all it says is "initializing" and I can't connect. I've also tried uninstalling the usb modem drivers but that doesn't seem to help either.

www.vstuff.co.uk also has a Motorola USB driver.exe but it doesn't seem to do a ×××× thing in XP.

I need you guys' help with this, what am I doing wrong?? Any tips would be much appreciated!!
