Man as if instant email web access, IM, SMS, Phone, etc isnt enough I just can't belive how useful this thing is, when i go to the gym I usually have a pen and paper book with me and write down all my sets rep weights etc. but the pages tear up and is annoying, so i started using the notes in my hiptop... it is so wicked i record everything then it uploads online and when i get home i download it to my computer and have my log and see my progress, just another very useful tool, the keyboard makes it that much better.

what about you all?

I love my hiptop i don't think i can live without it anymore. Push email is great... the only things that bother me are RF and battery life. So I can't wait for the hiptop2

the radio is stronger, so better reception, supposedly another hour or 2 added 2 standby time, so im guessin overall the battery will improve slightly. sum bugs r supposed 2 have been dealt with. its basically the same, juss with sum slight improvements. its not even right 2 call it hiptop2, cuz its not even next gen. its juss sum improvements. should be called hiptop1.5 or sumthin...

I use mine for e-mail primarily and find it real handy not to have to lug a laptop everywhere. Hoping for better battery life in the skII.

I LOVE my Hiptop (sorry for yelling, lol)! I've had mine since May and it works perfectly so far. I use it for email, notes, calendar, and even the phone

I also have my own business with a message board and I love being able to check it when I'm at Starbucks or wherever. It's the best!! I also love the folks at Danger. I've emailed them a couple times with questions and they got back to me super fast both times. I think they're an awesome company and I totally can't wait for SK II (I love new gadgets)!

I use it for everything. Mostly the texts, web surfing & AIM. Email & notes are great too and even though the camera isnt great quality, I love having it for those times that I just have to have a pic of something.

btw~ I carry mine in my purse.

haha yeh i got the case that looks like it is for a digital camera or something and depending on my shirt ill leave it on my belt or put it in my pocket,,, the part where you are suppose to clip on the belt i turn it backwards and clip it in my pocket, and then by the time i hear it i go to take it out to answer a call i miss it

my sidekick is like my 2nd brain... hhehe...
i can't live without it....

i use my sidekick to check on my ebay auctions, bank accounts, email, admin my shoutcast server with remoteamp..

also use it for on the go blogging and forum posting..

oh yea and to make phone calls..

hehe...

whos pre-ordered the sk2??

yeh i cant check my bank cause it uses java script and we all know the deal with that. so like umm where are all my fido toronto hiptop useres? it is mostly t mobile up in here, surfkitty where u from exactly?

yea its secure..

sidekick handles https (secure http), it might ask you to accept a certificate for a temp time or 30 days...

i paid my tmobile bill in the middle of a meeting on my sidekick..
so fun.. haha..

i don't see why not.... however, you'll have to have teh redirector on the pc end... or perhaps if your company uses outlook or lotus notes, setup email forwarding to your tmail account..

used it before with my old college account.. worked nicely!
plus, you prob. could just use a pc that is always connected to the internet (ie webserver) and have outloook running on one of the accounts with it set to auto cehck email every 5 mins and also have a message rule setup to forward all new mail to your tmail account....

we're not the one going to forums that are dedicated to a device/gadget and hating on it and its users, that to me usually indicates the lack of a life... or anger...

Personally, I enjoy the fact that the web desktop, and the sk desktop are synced all the time. I'm on the road alot for work, and my fiance and I are able to keep up with one another's schedules and such through the online calendar and everything. Also an easy way for her to see any pictures or whatever that I may take. This is in addition to the other obvious benefits, such as web, email, im, sms, telnet, ssh, notepad and everything all in one. I love it!

This phone and all its features are just amazing. I've had a tendancy to procrastinate "must-do" chores, such as going to the post office or getting my car serviced, only because i'd be there for such a long time with nothing to do except be bored. This phones makes doing those tasks fun again. I had to spend an hour getting new tires yesterday, and I was able to ssh to my box and irc the whole time while holding 3 AIM conversations. It made that hour seem like 15 minutes.

Truly amazing.
