I want to get that installed and try it out but i am a lil scurred dont want to ruin it and i know it has spyware to communicate back to the developer so that is kinda tought to ignore.

Actually the HIPTOP is like the Ngage, only like 4 billion times better. HIPTALK is a program used 2 chat. Has MSN, Yahoo and all the other chat programs people use. Except 4 ICQ though.

Why do you all have to type in truncated texts? It's highly annoying and makes one rationalize that you are no more than ten years old...

HipTalk is great, except for the occasional 'reconnection' bug.

i like hiptalk.. never had any probs but i used a really early version... nice cuz i could chat with msn buddies and all.. a few bugs early but those were documented.. the spyware just contacts the developer to allow them to see how many people are using their software and all or so i believe..

i used hipmsn for msn messenging, pretty nice lil app too!


oh well, i'm getting the sidekick 2 hopefully in less than 6 days.. preordered today!

ngage, not a bad attempt but not for me...

sidekick is for real.. and will be around for another 2 years...

blackberry.. yea go right ahead and get that... if ya got a few extra hundred more lying around.. plus i've heard browsing on it sucks.. and its aimed more for the business users that need their corp email and all too...

pocket pc phones, similar situation.. browsing on it can't compete, sure you get javascript but who cares if the pages don't look right to start with... and you don't get the landscape viewing on most pdas..


the pre-order units sold out in about 3 days.. (started 13th, ran out today in the afternoon).... so that must say something about the sidekick and its following base....

yeh i seen that site before but havnt seen the hipmsn ever hiptalk sure, man i just saw black jack and stuff too ××××, anyone in t dot have unlocked their HT so u can load 3rd party apps on them? I want to do this now i think i am ready.

the key to uploading apps adn ringers is to:

get the dev. kit. @ http://developer.danger.com
and also you will need to get a dev. key.

need to know how to setup the dev kit for the sidekick???

well i got it flashed got the kus usb drivers everything is good i got the app loaded hiptalk but when i go to log in it is telling me to check username and pass, i used the username i sign up with and the one in my device under system info and still it tells me to check username and pass what gives man im so close

so I been usinng hiptalk all day and it is ok but lacking tons I dont seem to be able to change my screen name all the people i have on my block list show up when i connect with the hiptop, lost of connection problems. maybe i am missing something so if any knows let me know but i dont like how i was onine to all the people i blocked on my msn list on my pc.

but the current dev kit works only for the sidekick, not the sidekick 2...

I have yet to see anything of hipmsn even on the devoloper page all that i seen and used it hiptalk I would like to know where you seen screenshots of hipmsn
