problems receiving txt msgs on s40

hey guys im a little new to siemens phones and i got this s40. im having problems receiving text msgs on the phone. i have no problems sending them. however whenever someone tries to send me a text msg it doesnt go through. any ideas? do i have to enable something? any help would greatly be appreciated. thanx in advance.

check your message center #....you might need to call custmoer care to get the number for your region.

This is a well-known bug in the Siemens S40.
Remove your SIM-card.
Turn on your device.
Type in:
*#337#
!!! Everything in the phone will be lost !!!
But your SMS InBox will work again, too.
