Great review! Good pictures and descriptions...seems like a decent phone.

How is the text-messaging speed?

Any word on MP3- compatability? What is the point of having expandable memory if MP3's aren't an option...

Mobile-review.com's review seemed to indicate that might be supported in the future - Tiger33, have you heard anything about this?

text message speed is great

but mp3 support is not possible as it doesnt even have the necessary codecs or software to understand mp3s! so not sure what mobile-review were talkinb about unless they mean an add on adapter like with the motorola phones

Well, I'm a little surprised that it won't offer MP3 functionality; seemed like that feature would naturally be included on phones with expandable memory.

Siemens even has a history of offering phones that had MP3 players.

Well, it's probably not that serious an omission; I'd guess that the target customer for this phone probably isn't really seriously interested in having an mp3 player on their phone - they probably already have an ipod or something for their portable music needs.
