Yes, I have been using WAP on my Audiovox CDM-9155gpx on Verizon for almost two years now.

You press the "web" soft key, enter your password, scroll down to "settings", press the right arrow, scroll down to "connection", enter your password, scroll down to web link B, press right arrow and the display shows "Link B Primary IP Address". Enter the following IP address: 012.025.203.011, press OK soft key and display shows "Link B Primary Port", enter 9201 then press the right arrow key. Now display shows "Link B Secondary IP Address". Again, enter 012.025.203.011 then press the OK soft key and display shows "Link B Secondary Port" and again enter 9201 then press OK soft key.
Now scroll down to "current link", press right arrow key, scroll down to "Web Link B" and press the right arrow key. You can now press the "clr" key several times to get back to the idle screen.
To use the WAP browser, press the "web" soft key, enter your password, scroll down to "internet" and press the right arrow key. The browser should start up. This is a WAP gateway that goes to Openwave and you can do limited web surfing. I like the Accu Weather and Google search that can be found under the "cool sites" link.
Remember, you will be using your plan minutes if you do your web browsing during peak hours. On our Verizon plan, if I surf in the evenings or weekends I don't use any of our plan peak minutes. Also, as far as I know, this WAP gateway is not secure - I wouldn't enter any info like credit card numbers etc.
You can also check out another public WAP gateway at www.waptunnel.com
Good luck and have fun!
