I'm looking to replace my NOK 3560 with a GSM phone of some sort.

I am eyeing the MOT v600 or the NEC e525.

Share with me your thoughts on these two phones. (or some other that I have not considered.

I like the size of either phone.
I also the ability to manipulate aspects of the phone (wallpaper, phone book, ringtones, etc...) through PC by USB/serial cable.

Those that have either phone please post your gripes and/or kudos. The help would be fantastic.

Probably be using ATT as a carrier (until they go Cingular

)

So,.. I have a landslide win for the v600.... well.....um.. ok

100% of the people who responded said that they would prefer the v600 over the e525.... yay

i don't like the North American NECs...i'd prefer the V600 if i had to choose. but in the world...i'd rather have the N series phones more than the Moto Vs

its a tie they both lose

i have owned both in the past and decided to keep the 525

didnt like motos phonebook setup small physical screen size, the way it flipped batt life, currently i have a NEC n820/n400
also the e398 looks like a very nice phone

the screen is just so nice
