maybe access point name?

Where can I find that? Is it on or in the phone somewhere?

the access point name is usually used when programming a phone for wap. I don't know why its coming up in your case and I have no idea how to solve it. Maybe its trying to find out where to look for your phone on your computer or something

Hmm.. so how do I make my connection between my phone and my computer?? Does anyone know? Please help! Thanks!

Hi - I am just wondering - may be you try to set up a Modem connection. I have the G600 and on my desktop appeared to icons. you have to click Pantech Sync. May be this helps because it should not ask you for an APN just set up a link between phone or PC!

You can't use BT to transfer stuff to a G800?
Or can it *only* do BT headsets?

Funmap - you know what, I think u're right.. I clicked on the wrong program. I dun have the program installed in this computer right now but once I go back to my other computer, I will try the one that says PC sync.. I didn't see icon before.
n3985 - My friend was trying to send me some ringtones from her Sony Ericsson through BT, but it didn't work. I already paired her cellphone with mine and stuff, but still didn't work.. anyone know why?

Well good luck :-) May be the BT profile can only be used to connect to a headset like in Sharp GX 30. Does the manual state you can send ring tones and pics via BT as well?

OK... I got the PC sync to work. It says I can use .mid files and convert them to .mmf files for ringtones. Now the problem is, I haven't got a clue how it works. I downloaded a midi file, went to open DB and opened it. I played it on their midi player thing and it's a totally different song! I tried it with another midi and that same song came up! What's going on?? Does anyone who has a G800 and done this before help me?
Thanks guys!
