Synchronisation w/ Outlook - good, bad?

Hi,

I am looking for an AT&T Wireless GSM phone that would synch relatively simply with my Outlook Contact and Calendar. I have my sights on the NEC 525, but am also considering the Motorola V600 or even the MPx200.

I am looking for comments from people who have owned any of those. I am particularly interested in a review of the NEC 525.

Thanks,

JD

I hope i'm not too late.......unless you have bionic hearing or your memory is so good that you wouldn't need to use your phonebook, i would definitely not purchase the v600. I've had endless problems with both on mine. As have others i'm learning. The sound thing i really can't elaborate too much on.....the sound is just really low when you speak with someone, even after i've raised the volume all the way. The phone book problem might be linked to mobile phone tools but i'm not sure yet. I've been trying to sync my outlook contacts with the phone, since that was one of the features it boasted as doing well. .....WRONG!!! Its been months and i can't get it to work correctly. Its screwed up everything i had set up in outlook. For some reason it duplicates everything with more than one phone number entry..........its too much work to fix it each time, i've given up!.

I've had similar problems with trying to synch an older Palm with Outlook. The synchronization packages don't work very well.

I have decided to go for the Motorola SmartPhone. That way, it synchs perfectly.
