Audiovox 8900 crap!!!!!

Ok i have an Audiovox 8900 with Cellular South and no matter what I do it will not connect to Brewsky or Bitpim. I have tried all kinds of drivers and other programs and the only thing that has happened so far is Pc Sync deleted all of my phone book entries (it was my fault) but right after that i went to brewsky and it actually read it on com 5 BUT the only ringtone it found was futurama and i had many more that i bought of of brew*very expensive* anyway I was able to upload the buddyholly one but I closed it thinking the problem was fixed but now it will never workagain Please help.....phone setting may be off or something but i am going crazy!!!!!!

i had cdm8900 for 1 week, got sick of it, sold it on ebay and govx6000 instead,
I couldn't be happier, BitPim works perfectly with vx6000
