Originally posted by Daerid I found a quick solution to protected media. Here is what I was doing. I was taking High res/Fine pictures, modifying them with Photoshop, then uploading with WebJal for CallerId Pics. People saw how good the photos were, and wanted copies. But when you upload with WebJal, it views them as Protected Media. Solution: I eMail them to the phone <PhoneNumber>@messaging.nextel.com and they come in as forwardable media... The only problem I run into now is, if I email a .WAV or .MP3 to myself, I can only listen to 3 seconds of it. What is up with that?? Daerid |

Originally posted by Johonn I have been reading alot here and hoping i could one day give back and i think today is that day. I got it. I figured it out by accident. I will keep that to my self in case Nextel wants to change it around so I can find it again. To whom ever can tell me what the “type=plmn” in the email address does can help. To send attachments unprotected use without quotes or parenthesis "+(PhoneNumber)/TYPE=PLMN@messaging.nextel.com" I am at work so I could not try this will all types of attachments but I made a .JPG 320x240 in MS Paint, it worked. I also sent myself a .WAV from windows and that came in unprotected. HAVE FUN. OH YEAH!!! Thank you.
