Can the Nokia 3650 change its theme ?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

i got themes ,and when i started installing them on the 3650 it gave me an error message telling me that this software is not compatible with my phone.
is this an error in my own phone or it is the same for all 3650 , or all Symbian 60 ?

I'm pretty sure the 3650, 7650 and n-gage don't have themes.

The 3650, 3660 and N-gage do not support themes by default. However all the newer S60 phones(6600 onwards) support themes.

And on a brighter note, there is an pp being developed known as the Themerizer which will allow users to change themes on the 3650.

why doesn't it support themes ?
i've installed the smart launcher , it changed the theme of the mobile but only for the main menu, not the submenu , and really it made the battery doesn't last for two days.
but the theme has changed, that's a hope we can hold on for it , it means that the system doesn't refuse , it is just a matter of an extra software and everything will be o.k.

Check out the themerizer thread for the ngage made by Royal21 for details.
It is applicable for all the Symbian 6.1 based phones

3650 cant change themes should be made a sticky or an FAQ item...

like gforce23 said. You can change the icons and later when Themerizer is finished you can also have mini themes on a 3650.

i guess 3650 ppl are getting desperate...wonder when it will be finished?

Posted by: RoYaL21

yeah, i was also getting desperate before i had my 7610. It gets really boring to look at the same screen everyday. It takes very long before its finished though, too bad. And still no release date.

Honestly, it dosnt even matter. the reality is the 3600/20/50/60 dosnt even have enough available RAM to run certain apps without running out of RAM... can you just imagine what it would be like with a theme running in the background?

Yea, but the N-gage does have enuff RAM.

I want themes for my N-gage!!!
If the P800 can get a themes app, why cant the older S60s? An yea, P800 has lesser ram than the n-gage(8 mb as compared to 11mb of n-gage).

You're wrong over here mate.
If I can remember correctly, the P8 has 12mb RAM to go with 16mb internal memory.
In case u are referring to the available RAM, u can close all other apps that are not required but are running in the background to conserve free space in the RAM.

After closing all unnecessary apps, i observed ram was around 8 mb and it never goes above it.
