I was wondering if anybody who has a SX56 or at least knows the answer to this question. The one that I have right now is currently running Pocket PC 2002 and I was wondering if I could use it to run Pocket PC 2003, if so where would I get the software, and has there been a lot of problems with doing the upgrade.

You can burn your own ROM here. I have the same pocket pc and had 2003 on it for awhile. ×××× SD card kept getting erased because of some sort of bug...so I went back to 2002.
You can get more info here:

Thanks, for the info. I am really not as concerned about the SD card as I am surfing the net and getting the new explorer and stuff that the Pocket PC 2003 supports. Did you have any problems with that working on the system in general.

Nope, that stuff worked great!
I liked the 2003 version better than 2002 (but that is just a personal preference).
Good luck and have fun with your new ppc!

By software, I take it you mean the ROM?
If so, that was in the previous post: http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/
If by software, you mean the several apps out there for the pocket pc, that is a huge list...I wish I had it all in one place.

Do you know of any external links that would be able to get the software from?
