In a word, no.

what do you mean in a word, no? is that a definate answer? because im willing to buy expansion memory. i have so many wallpapers i want which yeah more memory from them than on the phone lol... anyways. is it a for sure no or what?

"In a word, no" means exactly what it sounds like. It means the V600 has no expansion possibilities. At all.

If you were talented with a soldering iron and you wanted to rip the memory chip off of your V600's mainboard and then try soldering a new chip onto the board then it could work. Or it could fry your phone. I don't know of anyone who has tried it. Or if you could actually find a memory chip to fit the phone that's higher capacity than stock one.

If you want a phone that expansion capabilities get an e398.

It IS possible to free up some space by deleting files that you don't need, but even then it's only a couple of extra mb.

That memory chip houses the BIOS. Rip that off and you won't be able to put any new firmware on your phone

The bios and system memory are on the same chip? Ouch.

you only have 5mb? you should delete ur locked files...that gies you some more...not much but its better than nothing
