k700i bluetooth issue

Hi I have a K00i on Orange with R2C001 firmware, I have just had a bluetooth car kit fitted when I turn on the car the phone pairs with the kit and switches to handsfree profile all by itself. The phone will stay connected for 10 mins or so then switch back to whatever profile I had before. The only way to reconnect is to turn the car off and back on. Anyone know if the latest firmware will fix this?
