My current configuration are as follows:
Flex:GS9V600TMB02NA157
Firmware: TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.3AR_A
i just got this phone about a month ago and from the very beginning, ive noticed that the menus lag. also, when you pick up the phone, it takes a few seconds for it to connect. RFwise, id say its moderate... ive been looking to get my phone flashed. what would be the best combo for tmobile in the new england area (northeast us)? don't tell me 55R because ive heard it's a risk and that you can't flash back. also, if you would be so kind to include some flashing and flexing tips. that would be real nice.

well.. you can keep your stock flex and seem edit it to your likings.. for all the seem edit info, check out:
http://xlr8.us/hofo/map.txt
or you can try the v620 flex which gives faster menus and camera, but it requires a lot of time to configure afterwards for the phone to work properly:
http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...threadid=495647 (v620 flex thread)
http://v620.hopto.org (v620 flex file)
as for the flash.. id try 45R, 4AR, or 4FR.. all are pretty good.. 4FR is the latest (other than 55R) and it is safe to use and downgrade if anything happens.. flash info can be found here:

have fun

id try 4FR first and if you dont like it, then i guess you can go to 55R.. but remember.. there is no turning back once you flash with 55R

I've been doing as much reading as I can about this subject, and one thing is still unclear to me. Do you have to unlock your phone before you flash to a new firmware? I haven't decided if I want to goto a new flex or not. Thanks

lols, this thread is old. about 2 days after i posted that, i flexed to the E9 engineering. no complaints. it owns. then about a few weeks ago, i flashed to 4FR, gave me increased RF performance! and i was only already using 3AR. now your 2FR should benefit alot from a new flash. heading over the 55r in a few weeks.
