Firmware update for k700

I just bought an unlocked k700. Is there anyway to update the firmware without having to use a cable, i.e. using bluetooth for example?

nope
no way since the bluetooth/ir compatability is in the firmware

so once the firmwares erased off the phone, you wouldn't be able to use bluetooth or ir until its been re-installed

Kinda makes sense...but only partly! For example, my Palm T3 got a firware update. I downloaded the software to the device and executed it. It was done.

As far as I know, the new phone can execute pretty fancy programs. So while I understand that bluetooth might be interupted, I would (nearly) bet that the phone can do this without trying to keep the connection alive.

Question is then: who's tried this?
