hey ppl.

i fell of my motor bike and broke my slider phone screen.

not too fussed good phone get a new one. BUT!!!!

i need my txt messages, espically the ones i recieved while the phone has been on but i cant read it.

dont wanna data cable. dont wanna pay the repair man $200 AUD for new screen nor $40 AUD to try and retive them.

all i need is help to rember how to foward a txt message to a new contact with out seeing the screen.

please someone a quick step by step for a blind dumb man.

Unless we've got other Australians using SE47's here I'm not sure if anything but trying to guess it via screen shots in the manual will do any good. Even in the US, the SE47 menu systems are different for each carrier. My Slider was on Virgin Mobile and I flashed it to Verizon... the menu settings are very different. The correct numbered command sequence for forwarding a text message on one carrier may erase your contacts list on another carier's menu implementation.

As a last resort and if you are handy with a torx screwdriver, you can get a replacement Slider, take apart both, and attach the screen of the new one to the body of the old one. View your messages and take notes on what they were or whatever, then put the new one back together.

ya i had a feeling from reading other posts that they differ a bit.

have to bite the bullet take the phone to the repair guy watch plug a data cable in and charge me $40 to print some txt msgs and a phone book. ×××× happens...
