Can anyone direct me to a site where I can get some descent plates form my 6360? I have seen those butt ugly flame and hawaian plates on ebay and those just wont do. Im looking for something that resembles the original 6310 colours (pref champagne or silver ones) or even the silver 6210 original nokia plate. any suggestions of other types I havent thought about would be greatfully accepted as well. also anyone know if the 6310 faceplates would fit my 6360?

that would be soooo coool if there is a faceplate for 6360 that makes it look like a champagne 6310/40. the ones i've seen in many online stores look plasticky and all.

oh, and anyone who has changed the 6360 faceplate, is this hard to do?

NO IT'S NOT HARD TO DO. ALL YOU DP IS TAKE OUT THE 4

SCREWS IN THE BACK AND IT SHOULD POP RIGHT OFF.

IF YOUR LOOKING FOR FACEPLATES TRY DAYDEAL.COM. THEY

SOME THAT YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think the 6310 faceplates can fit the 6360, with the different shaped buttons and all. that will be cool if it did....

1. With the phone turned off, remove the battery cover and the battery.

2. Remove the 4 Torx #6 screws inside the battery compartment.

3. Once the screws have been removed, you may notice the bottom part of the faceplate is loose. Gently lift the bottom section of the faceplate off and unlatch the faceplate at the top of the phone.

4. Remove the speaker piece and power button from the original faceplate and transfer that to the new faceplate.

5. Attach the keypad to the new faceplate and attach that to the phone. Be sure to latch the top of the faceplate onto the phone first.

6. Re-attach the screws. Please do not overtighten the screws.

By looking at the pics online it looks as it might fit.. the buttons are roughly in the same position so I dont think that would be an issue.. the 6188 faceplates for example, fit the 6160... even the 6161 plate fits on all 6100 series phones.. so Im hoping the 6300 series would be the same. Dont know for sure though

Cool... but Does the 6310 OEM faceplate fit the 6360? and where can I buy one (6310 OEM plate)

Hi

The 6310(i) Faceplates never fit a 6340 or 6360, I have both Phones ( 6310i and 6360 )

The 6310i have a Battery from the 51/61 series, the 6340/6360 have the Battery from 8260, Shape from Body are totally different, just look from the side.

6340 and 6360 are interchangeble.

I have my 6310i from Germany, is there availble 3 Month ago.

so does that mean that 6360 owners are stuck with ugly cheap-looking replacement covers that is available in the market ? if anybody has seen/used a nice looking one, tell us........

i don't wanna have to use this stupid leather case forever (to prevent scratches and all).
