if your mobile is 6600, you could hard format it...

but by your name, i assume its 7610. then send it to nokia...

try using Safe Mode first... press Menu button, hold it, and turn on your fone.
if you could access your fone after this, press *#7370# to format it...
if this doesn't solve your prob, then send it to nokia...
i meant Nokia Center... your fone has to be reflashed...

nokia has been very weird with reflashing of fones......try your provider first.

There is probably a problem in the 'user area' on the phone. Try this to reformat:

Note, formatting will lose all info you have stored on the phone (settings, contacts, messages, etc.). Do it with the phone fully charged or on AC. Turn off the phone. Press down and keep down the keys '3', '*' and the green/talk key. While these are pressed down, press power on (you may need a third hand to do that and it might take a few attempts to get it right). When the formatting starts, release the keys. The memory card will not be affected.

I had a phone like this a couple of days back, and had to reflash it to fix the problem, so if the instructions above don't work, then you'll have to get that done.

Hey, this just happened to my 3650. I feel for ya, definetly know how much it sucks. Also explains why I haven't been on a whole lot lately.
