nope there isn't, sorry! that's a design flaw with all series 60 phones... there are programs that will keep the light on indefinitely, (try looking for the programn 'flashlight'), but nothing to adjust it from say 10 seconds to 30 seconds... and i should note that this is an actual feature by nokia, because it saves on battery life, but i still call it a design flaw...

If I find this program will it harm my N-Gage at all by having the backlight on all the time??

Well you could probably burn out the LEDs which are lit or activated when the backlight is required since nothing could withstand the strain of remaining switched on all the time. Besides that, it would be a major drain for your battery so you would have to charge your phone a bit more often.

Thats what I got insurance for...

So now I just have to find that program...

hey spiderman, the flashlight program only keeps your backlight on for as long as you want, and then you turn it off... so it shouldn't hurt your led's or anything, as long as you turn it off when you're done...

what up Washington state!

PEACE!

What do you guys think of the backlight of the QD compared to the original N-Gage? I find the QD backlight a bit stronger and more intense than the original N-Gage backlight.
