Here is my mini-review on the LG-5225:

Looks: It is not the smallest cell phone you can purchase from Sprint, but its of decent size. I believe its similar to the size of the Motorola V60. The outer LCD screen is not colored, its a normal black and white screen with a dim whiteish/blue light. The plastic could be better, it kinda feels like a toy sometimes, but its built sturdy. The screen pixels and color could be better, but its usuable.

Menus: The menu's of the phone are decent. You can open your phone, and their are two short cut keys. One brings you to the menu, and one brings you to search. When you reach the main menu, thier are 8 different options ranging from Call history to Planner.

RF: I am surpised to report that the RF of the phone is not as bad as I heard it to be. My house is in a weak Spring area, and it holds on to the digital signal just as good, and sometimes better than my former VI660.

Sounds: The ringtones are decent. Nothing cool that sets it apart. But the ringtones are louud and clear. The speaker ranges from low to high. Even at low, its still very loud, so if your hard of hearing, this is the phone for you. Their a monitor feature which is great to check voicemails. It turns your phone to a one-way speaker phone so you can listen to voicemails, or put your phone down if you are on hold for a long period of time.

Battery: Thier have been reports that the battery is bad, and I have not had that expierence. The battery life is average, much better than my samsung Vi660. It lasts 2-3 days with normal usage. Nothing too spectacular about battery life.

This is my first LG phone, and I would buy another one when upgrade time rolls around.
