When i flip the screen its very slightly not fliping the full flip. it just about right to the fit but its off very very slightly do to the magnet its using to sit in place and i have to give it a tiny push to get it right??? Im wondering if i have to do it a few times to ware it in just right.

anyone else having this issue? should i take it back for doing this?

happens once every 3 to 5 flips

On my unit, the flip works very well, and has right from the begining. It opens completely on it's own.

I found that it is easier to open if you use 2 hands. One on the lower left corner pushing up and the other on the upper right corner of the screen, simultaneously pushing the screen down and out. This method is much easier and more reliable than just the one finger/thumb method on the lower left corner.

Hope it helps ....

yea just tried it and the first time it still sticks just as its about to sit in. its as if the magnet is to strong or somthing. but the rest of time trys it works then the 1oth flip it did it again and so on. not a big deal but just annoying to fix it when it doesnt do it fully. I might take it back since i did spend 300 on it. Then again i dont want to have to wait 48 hrs for it to activate.

If it was me, I wouldn't. As long as the unit functions and has a good build quality (in other words, there are no other issues like squeeking this or creaking that) I would keep it. It is certainly up to you, but the issue seems so minor that IMO it wouldn't be worth the hassle of exchanging and waiting for another activation.

If you are going to return it though, make certain you do it before the 14 days is up.

Later ...

i would take it back. 300 is a lot to spend on a unit that you are aggravated with.

This happened to me about...1 out of 20 times. It doesn't happen often, so it didn't really bother me.

If it happens a lot (3 out of 5 times, you said), then I honestly would wait a few days and use it normally and see how it goes, and if it's the same and if it really bothers you, then exchange it.

just got back from the store and the guy said all of them are like that. the old sk1 had a lock where it just sat in. this new one has a magnet on it.

I think they made it harder to open because some folks, like me, had a problem with the CSK opening all on its own. Cause if you think about it, soon it will loosen up abit with use.

Also, that resistance you feel is just the magnet, which I think was a good idea! :-)
