A few questions about the Ngage QD

I am trying to load mp3s on to an mmc card and have loaded realone software on the phone since it does not come on the phone. How do I view files that are on the mmc card? Only thing I am able to view are video files since the phone came preloaded with a video player.

Also in the instruction manual the phone it talks about an IM program but on the box it says that it is not supported. This is confusing non the less.

go to your file manager and check there

all I see is an "manager" under tools and it goes in to an app manager and there is nothing there even though I have saved a few installation files to the card. now if I go to options and memory details is says there is X megs of sound files but I do not see any way of actually getting to them. Sorry for the ignorance, if its right in front of my face.

okay then..u should install SeleQ or Fexplorer into your QD...u can get the ap at mysymbian.com

i would highly recommend FExplorer, 'cause it's free and it works the best!

But QD already has an inbuilt file explorer like SeleQ. So why the need for a new one?

not on my QD it doesn't! oh well, FEexplorer is the shiznit anyway, and it works perfect, so...

Are you sure that your friend didn't install a Symbian app? I have looked at several QDs here in Germany and never seen a File Browser option.
