Any of their phones that use the "Data to Go" kit should work fine. I suggest you visit a Bell store and have a look at all the choices to narrow down your list, then come back here and ask for specific advice on a few specific models.

I use the Sanyo 8100 with the Data-t-Go kit.

Works well - albeit slow

a460 with Data-to-go varies around 5-10kbps in full service areas. ENSURE you read up on charges and the rep you are speaking with understands you would like a Data-to-go package and not a Mobile Browser service bundle and record agent names/dates. One misunderstanding can cost you some serious dough or at least the hassle of getting it fixed.

I went into the store today and ran into this... The guy I was talking to was clueless and told me it would be an extra $100 a month to have unlimited access.... on their website I see its $5.. Maybe there's something missing as I dont know a whole lot about this stuff.....

As far as the phones go I looked at a few.... Which are the most reliable ones and what does everyone reccomend? Basically the salesmen told me to get the one that looks nicest and didnt even tell me about the features...

Ahh, I see... so what exactely do I need to ask for? Is $100 a month what everyone else is paying for their cellphone internet access?

yes its 100 if you want the unlimited BM data plan on top of whatever you are paying for your regular rate plan. You can get a smaller package.. like i think its 25 bucks for 4 megs, or 40 bucks for 10 megs, i could be wrong about those prices might have changed., that part of bell is not my dept

I might look into this in the future as well..as i might take back this 8910 and get the treo instead of it actually has a holster i really dont wanna hve to shove it in my pocket lol.....and i broke up with my gf so now its only a dinner or two that iw ont be spending on her lol

oh and btw... data works on bandwidth not by time... unlike yer mobile browser doo hickey...

hope that helps..

Do you subscribe to one of the data to go services? There is a speed cap (comparible to 28.8 modem) if you do not subscribe.

Sign up for one (starting at $25) and you will notice a difference.
